Review: The industry meeting point 2026

Shaping the future of the life science industry together

Held in Karlsruhe in June 2026, the LIFE SCIENCE READY DAYS brought together customers, partners and industry professionals from across the pharmaceutical and life science sectors. Over two inspiring days, attendees explored the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, real-world applications and practical insights while connecting with peers from across the industry.

Here's a look back at two days filled with innovation, inspiration and meaningful connections.

Day 1: A strong start filled with energy, networking and fresh perspectives

The first day of the LIFE SCIENCE READY DAYS got off to a great start. Guests arrived, checked in and enjoyed a cup of coffee while making their first connections before Martin Storm Marum, Managing Director of Systec & Solutions ApS, officially opened the event.

Jean-Philippe Hagmann, founder of the Agentur für radikale Innovation (Agency for radical innovation), then took the stage to set the tone for the day ahead. One message in particular resonated with the audience: asking the right questions can be more powerful than having a single great idea.

The program continued with valuable perspectives from across the industry. Prof. Dr. Michelangelo Canzoneri of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Teresa Minero of LifeBee, ProductLife Group and ISPE and Bernd Sessler of F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. shared valuable insights and practical perspectives drawn from their experience.

During the lunch break, conversations continued in the exhibition area, where attendees met with Körber Pharma, NOVATEK INTERNATIONAL, FrontWell Solutions, KEMMLIT-Bauelemente, Nymi, Daldrop + Dr. Ing. Huber, High Speed Karlsruhe and Stormbit.

Later in the day, Managing Directors Philipp Linder and Dr. Martin Printz shared exciting insights into the ambitious future plans of the Systec & Solutions Group.

One moment stood out in particular: Simeon Meier, Product Manager and Quality Manager at the Systec & Solutions Group, introduced TYDORA, our new HMI. TYDORA represents the hard work, dedication and passion of our development team and our guests were among the first to experience and explore it firsthand.

The day concluded with a gala dinner aboard the MS Karlsruhe, featuring a harbor cruise, good food and drinks and live rock music by the band Hardcover.

Day 2: Big ideas, meaningful conversations and a strong finish

The second day of the LIFE SCIENCE READY DAYS brought exactly the atmosphere we had hoped for: innovative ideas, open discussions and a room full of people passionate about the future of life sciences manufacturing.

Stefan Münch, VP Signature Offerings at Körber Pharma Consulting, opened the day with an insightful presentation on the use of GxP-compliant AI in operational environments.

Building on this, Trevor Marshall, Head of Consulting – Life Science Manufacturing at Cognizant, demonstrated how artificial intelligence in Operational Technology (OT) can help transform the way we work and accelerate the journey from molecule to market.

Later, Susan B. Cleary, Director of Product Development at Novatek International and John Brett, Document Control Specialist at Sanofi Genzyme, shared valuable insights into modernizing cleanroom sample collection and reporting.

Henrik Dieckert and Hermann Schäfer, Managing Directors of Stormbit GmbH, highlighted that digital transformation in the pharmaceutical industry is already well underway. They discussed today's challenges and introduced VEYA, Stormbit's integrated GMP-ready platform.

The remainder of the day focused on collaboration and hands-on learning. During two interactive workshops and numerous hands-on sessions, participants exchanged ideas, explored new approaches and shared their expertise. It was especially rewarding to see how openly everyone contributed their questions, experiences and perspectives throughout the afternoon.

As the LIFE SCIENCE READY DAYS came to a close, one feeling stood above all else: gratitude. Thank you to all of our guests for joining us, sharing your perspectives and making this event what it was. Thank you to our partners for your expertise and valuable contributions. And a special thank you to all of our colleagues across the Systec & Solutions Group whose dedication and commitment made this event possible.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the next LIFE SCIENCE READY DAYS in 2028.
